Pascal Lamy is the fifth Director-General of the WTO. His appointment took effect on 1 September 2005 for a four-year term. In April 2009 WTO members reappointed Mr Lamy for a second four-year term, starting on 1 September 2009.A French political advisor, a businessman, and a former European Commissioner for Trade, Lamy is Honorary President of Paris-based think tank Notre Europe.
Alejandro Jara , Deputy Director General WTO
In June 2000 he was appointed as Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Chile to the World Trade Organization in Geneva. During 2001 he served as Chairperson of the Committee on Trade and Environment of the WTO. In February 2002 he was elected as Chairman of the Special Session of the Council for Trade in Services, which is in charge of the negotiations mandated by Ministers in Doha. He is author of numerous articles and papers on international trade.
Valentine Sendanyoye Rugwabiza , Deputy Director General WTO
She has been Coordinator of the African Group in the WTO. She is one of the two Ambassadors representing the LDCs in the Integrated Framework Working Group. She initiated the Integrated Framework in Rwanda.
Harsha Vardhana Singh, Deputy Director General WTO
Mr. Singh a member of several High Level Committees to address various policy issues, has served as Chair of dispute settlement panels of the WTO. He has also been a member of various trade advisory committees of the Indian government and has worked on the Foreign Trade Policy of India.
Rufus H. Yerxa, Deputy Director General WTO
Rufus H. Yerxa has served as Deputy Director General since 2002. Mr. Yerxa has an extensive record as a international trade negotiator, diplomat and lawyer. He had played a major role in negotiating and securing Congressional approval of both the Uruguay Round/WTO agreement and the NAFTA accord.

He has initiated a programme task force with the objective of delivering added value to Association members worldwide through more clearly defined and recognizable membership benefits, services and business opportunities.
Ms. Ratana Poopitakchatkaew, Director-Board Relations, Bangkok, PATA : She has assumed the duties as Director-Board Relations in addition to her current responsibilities as Director of Administration & Finance for PATA Operational Headquarters and the Asia Division in Singapore. She remains based in Bangkok.
Mr. John Koldowski,Managing Director-Strategic Information Centre At PATA Operational Headquarters in BangkokHis new title more accurately reflects the significance of PATA'S Bangkok based research body. Mr. Koldowski joined PATA in Singapore in May 1997, then moved to Bangkok in September 1998 when the Association relocated its operational Headquarters.
